Of course, Catholics are smarter than Protestants when it comes to theology, but how do you explain that Catholics voted almost as much as ATHIESTS and AGNOSTICS FOR "THE ONE", BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.
What the figures say to me is that Protestants are smarter politically, socially and economically than their Catholic counterparts.
Of course, another explanation is that Catholics, who are generally regarded as sheep blindly following their shepherds, were confused by the silence of their bishops and pastors about the dangers of voting for "The Annointed One." The voting guide put out by the USCCB had overtones of the Bernadin "Seamless Garment" theory which equated all issues as being equal.
Small wonder then that the siren call of the Obama campaign for "Change" which would solve all the domestic problems of the United States and the World had such great appeal to Catholics.
